Pada mulanya, pra-calon Mauricio Macri, Daniel Scioli, dan Sergio Massa mempunyai tie tiga dalam pemilihan untuk pilihan raya presiden 2015. Scioli adalah calon dari Front for Victory, parti pemerintah pada masa itu, dan Macri dan Massa menentangnya. Parti-partai lain membentuk koalisi politik, Front UNEN yang luas.
